Type Apps is a software studio based in Metro Vancouver, BC. We design, build, deploy and secure web, mobile and AI software for companies around the world, with design, engineering, cloud, security and AI under one roof.
What we do
Type Apps builds web and mobile apps, deploys them to AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, keeps them secure, and adds AI where it pays for itself. Our work covers custom software, web applications, iOS and Android apps, product and UI/UX design, cloud and DevOps, security, APIs and integrations, AI integration and dedicated teams.
We have helped launch marketplaces, storefronts and insurance portals for web and mobile, including Sleekride, BRED., InsureCert, Leeos Merch and Stay Fresh. We also make our own app, Flawless Clean, which helps cleaning companies run inspections and turnover jobs.
How we work
Every project follows five steps: discover, design, build, secure and launch, then scale and support. A technical lead is involved in every one, and you get a scope, estimate and roadmap before any commitment.
We build in two-week sprints with daily updates and a working demo at the end of each sprint. Every change ships through an automated pipeline that tests, scans and deploys it, so releases are routine and security checks run every time.
