Cloud & DevOps

Cloud deployment and DevOps on the cloud you already use

Type Apps deploys software to the cloud you already use, with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, autoscaling and cost tuning. Every project ships through an automated pipeline that tests, scans and deploys each change, so releases become routine.

Cloud & DevOps

What we do

Infrastructure as code

Your infrastructure defined in Terraform, so environments are repeatable and changes are reviewed like code.

CI/CD pipelines

GitHub Actions pipelines that test, scan and deploy on every change.

Containers or managed platforms

Docker and Kubernetes, or managed platforms when simpler.

Monitoring and autoscaling

Monitoring, alerts and autoscaling, so problems surface early and capacity follows traffic.

Cost reviews

Reviews of what’s running and why, to cut idle spend.

Process

How we work

  1. 01

    Review

What runs today, your goals and constraints. You get a scope, estimate and roadmap.

  2. 02

    Codify

Infrastructure as code with Terraform, so every environment can be rebuilt the same way.

  3. 03

    Automate

CI/CD with GitHub Actions that tests, scans and deploys each change.

  4. 04

    Observe

    Monitoring, alerts and autoscaling.

  5. 05

    Tune

Cost reviews that cut idle spend, and ongoing support as you grow.

A good fit when

  • Releases are manual, slow or risky.
  • Nobody is sure what is running in your cloud account or what it costs.
  • You’re moving an app to AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
  • You want monitoring and alerts that catch problems before customers do.

FAQ

Cloud & DevOps: common questions

Which cloud providers does Type Apps work with?

Type Apps deploys to AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Vercel, Railway and Cloudflare. We usually work in the cloud you already use, and recommend managed platforms when they are simpler than running Kubernetes. Infrastructure is defined with Terraform, so it can be reviewed, repeated and changed safely.

What does a CI/CD pipeline do?

A CI/CD pipeline tests, scans and deploys your software automatically every time the code changes. Type Apps builds pipelines with GitHub Actions that run your tests, scan dependencies and secrets for security issues, and deploy to your cloud, so releases become routine and security checks run on every build.

Do I need Kubernetes?

Often not. We use Docker and Kubernetes when an application needs them, and managed platforms such as Vercel or Railway when they are simpler to run. The aim is the least infrastructure that meets your reliability and scaling needs, because every extra moving part has to be monitored, secured and paid for.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Yes, through cost reviews that find and cut idle spend. We look at what is running, what it is used for and how it scales, then right-size or remove what isn’t needed and set up autoscaling so capacity follows real traffic. Changes go through infrastructure as code, so they are tracked and reversible.

Do you provide monitoring and support after launch?

Yes. We set up monitoring, alerts and autoscaling as part of deployment, and scale and support is the final step of our process: monitoring, iteration and ongoing support as you grow. Fixes and improvements ship through the same automated pipeline as everything else.
