What application security services does Type Apps provide?

Security is part of every project from the first commit, not added at the end.
Can you help us prepare for SOC 2?
Yes. Type Apps helps teams get ready for SOC 2 by putting the technical controls in place: access control, encryption, code review, automated scanning and monitoring. SOC 2 reports come from an independent auditor, so we don’t issue them, but we help make sure your software and infrastructure are ready for one.
What is PIPEDA readiness?
PIPEDA is Canada’s federal private-sector privacy law, and readiness means your software handles personal information the way it expects. Type Apps helps with the technical side, such as controlling who can access personal information, encrypting it and making records possible to correct or delete on request. For legal advice, involve your privacy lawyer.
Do you fix issues found in a penetration test?
Yes. Pen-test remediation is one of our security services. We work through the findings, fix the underlying issues in your code and infrastructure, and add checks to the build pipeline where they help catch the same kind of problem on future builds.
How is security handled during development?
Security runs through our whole process. Architecture is designed to be secure from the start, code is reviewed against OWASP guidance, every build runs dependency and secret scanning, and each launch includes a security review. Releases go through the same automated pipeline, so the checks run every time.
Do you set up single sign-on (SSO)?
Yes. We build authentication, single sign-on and role-based access, so your customers can sign in with their company accounts and each person sees only what their role allows. SSO is simpler to design in from the start than to add to a product later.
