Privacy policy

About this policy

Flawless Clean (“the app”) is a mobile app for cleaning companies. It is provided by BRED market ltd, doing business as Type Apps (“Type Apps”, “we”, “us”).

This policy covers the app only. It does not cover the type-apps.com website or other Type Apps services.

How the app works

We license the app to cleaning companies. In this policy, “your company” means the company you work for that uses the app.

• Your company decides who gets an account and what work is recorded in the app.
• Its staff (cleaners, supervisors and admins) use the app to do and review their work.
• Your company’s clients receive inspection reports by email.

We run the service on your company’s behalf. Each company controls its own data, and companies can’t see each other’s data.

Information the app handles

About you, as a member of staff

• Your name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred language (English or Vietnamese) and role.

Work records

• Inspections and turnover jobs, checklist answers, notes, photos taken in the app, signatures and timestamps.

Location

• Your phone’s location when you start or finish a job, only if you allow it. Jobs work without it.

Your company’s clients

• Client name, contact name, email address, phone number and the language their reports are sent in.

Rental properties

• Addresses, access details such as door or lockbox codes and Wi-Fi details, and staging photos.

Booking calendars

• If your company connects an Airbnb or Vrbo calendar link, the app reads stay dates and reservation codes only. Guest names and phone numbers are never stored.

Signing in

Accounts are invite-only. A company admin adds staff by email address. To sign in, you enter that email address and we email you a 6‑digit code, which expires after a short time. Staff accounts don’t have passwords.

Phone permissions

The app may ask for these permissions on your phone:

• Camera, to take work photos.
• Photos, to choose an existing photo for a job.
• Location while using the app, to record where a job starts and finishes.

You can turn these off at any time in your phone’s Settings. Jobs still work without location.

How we use information

We use the information only to provide the app to your company:

• signing you in and keeping accounts secure;
• assigning, tracking and recording jobs;
• creating inspection reports and emailing them to your company’s clients;
• emailing sign-in codes and job assignment notices;
• answering support requests and fixing problems.

What we don’t do

• No analytics or usage tracking.
• No advertising.
• No tracking you across other apps or websites.
• We don’t sell personal information or share it for marketing.

Who can see your information

• People at your company, depending on their role in the app.
• Your company’s clients, who see the reports sent to them.
• Our team, only when needed to run, secure or support the service.
• The service providers listed below.
• Authorities, if the law requires us to share it.

Service providers and storage

We use a small number of providers to run the app. They handle information only to provide their service to us.

• Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in. Data is stored in Canada (Supabase’s ca-central-1 region).
• PowerSync: keeps the copy of job data on your phone in sync, so the app works offline.
• Resend: sends the app’s emails, such as sign-in codes, assignment notices and reports.
• Apple: distributes the app through the App Store and TestFlight.

Our main database and files are stored in Canada. Some providers, such as our email provider, may process information in other countries, including the United States.

How long we keep information

We keep your company’s information while it uses the service. A company can ask us to delete its data at any time by emailing hello@type-apps.com.

Deleting your account

Your privacy rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent, for example by turning off location access. If you’re in the United States, you may have similar rights under your state’s laws.

To make a request, email hello@type-apps.com. Because we run the app for your company, we may need to involve your company to answer some requests.

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections, sign-in codes expire, and each company’s data is kept separate from other companies’ data. No system is completely secure. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we’ll notify the affected companies and people as the law requires.

Children

The app is for company staff only. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
